The Halton Catholic District School Board chapter of APSSP represents Child and Youth Counsellors, Communicative Disorders Assistants, Psychometrists and Psychological Associates, Speech and Language Pathologists, Attendance Counsellors, and Secondary School Librarians. The Halton Chapter is a longstanding member of APSSP. We are currently at 60 members. The HCDSB consists of 39 elementary schools and 7 secondary schools. There is a total of 3,570 staff within the board of which 2,370 are teaching staff, school administrators and supply. Approximately 1,200 staff are support, e.g. managerial and clerical. The Halton Region includes Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Acton and Georgetown  which has many rapidly growing areas.
